Pre-Conference Walking Tour of the Acropolis, Athens: For those participants joining us for the pre-conference tour in Athens, you will want to book your flight to arrive in Athens anytime on September 1st, arranging for your connecting flight into Alexandroupolis for late in the afternoon on the 2nd. Contact Aegean and Olympic Airlines for flight information (we recommend booking a 5pm flight).
For those who wish to visit the Acropolis before heading North to Samothrace, a morning walking tour will be offered with philosopher Stanley Sfekas. This is highly recommended for those who have never visited Greece before. The Acropolis has a unique capacity to convey a powerful sense of beauty and wisdom of classical culture. Walk in the footsteps of the great philosophers and feel the magnificent civilization that was ancient Greece. The tour will conclude at 1:00pm at The Golden City Hotel giving participants time to catch an afternoon flight to Alexandroupolis.
