POST-CONFERENCE ATLANTIC JOURNEY
This year, we are offering basic and upgraded accommodation options for our Post-Conference Journey as we visit Clare Island, Sligo, Glencolumbkille and Belfast.
Costs for these accommodation options are built into the Post-Conference Journey pricing.
CLARE ISLAND
For our two nights on Clare Island, participants will have the option of staying at the Bayview House, or choosing upgraded accommodations at The Lighthouse.
Bayview House is a charming and historic building dating back to the 1870s. It overlooks the Wild Atlantic and the hills of Connemara, and is situated close to Clare Island’s main harbor and sandy beach. Bayview House offers individually-styled, en-suite, bedrooms, all with views of the sea. There is wifi access in the house.

The Lighthouse, our upgraded option, is perched high upon craggy cliffs and built around the original lighthouse tower at the most remote point of Clare Island. It is a collection of several small cottages, each with a commanding view of the sea, and two towers, one of which offers guests fantastic panoramic views. Each cottage is individually designed (there is the Tower House, the Sauna Suite, the Banshee Cottage, to name a few) and fitted with period fixtures, comfortable cast-iron beds, wood-burning stoves, and generous en-suite bathrooms. A lovely communal house, with its extensive library and on-site piano, is open to all guests.
All of the Lighthouse’s rooms are non-smoking and have free wifi.
*Please note that some cottages at the Lighthouse have bedrooms that require climbing curved staircases or a ladder to reach them. Contact us at registration@esotericquest.org if you have particular needs around accommodations, or would like to learn more about the unique features of each guest room.

SLIGO
The Clayton Hotel is set on scenic grounds just outside of Sligo Town, with beautiful views of Ben Bulben Mountain. Rooms are elegant, comfortable, and have en-suite bathrooms and free wifi. All guests have complimentary access to the hotel’s full-service gym and indoor pool.

It offers clean and comfortable rooms with en-suite baths and free wifi, and a lounging area with sea and mountain views.

BELFAST
The Harrison Chambers of Distinction is housed in a restored, landmarked Victorian merchant’s residence, and has been hosting “”scoundrels & scholars” since 1879. Located near the Botanical Gardens and the Lyric Theatre, the hotel has a unique, elegant, Bohemian atmosphere. Rooms offer balconies with mountain views, en-suite baths and free wifi.
